Several establishments have confirmed they will be taking part in this new scheme after Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, announced Eid in Dubai celebrations will be extended from four days to two weeks. This initiative is set to draw families, holidaymaker's and workers in the city to join in the festivities and shop at their convenience, while enjoying the maximum shopping experience.
The celebrations are now set to start on the 18th of October and the shopping event will continue until November 4th, with Eid Al Adha on October 26th. All participating malls will be open for 24 hours every weekend during this period, for three full weekends. On weekdays during the celebration period, mall will be operating from 10am to 1am and food courts and restaurants until 3am.
Not only will this be the ultimate shopper's haven but the extended period will bring an expected boost to the tourism, retail and hospitality sectors.
